I’m just noting this down because, in a sense, windows 7 has to fight a lot of battles. On the surface these might all be hard battles to win – however, overall they’re all dependent on one key element.

Update: I think I got it fixed – it was an irql_not_less_or_equal error and some Internet forum had something about making sure sound devices aren’t using the same irq levels or something ( i dont’ understand it at all). IE crashes a lot. Also, it doesn’t work with some sites – in fact, editing in wordpress (the last released edition, not the current one) causes it to crash. It seems that IE8 isn’t ready for show time yet.

Just set up – http://tinyurl.com/window7 so I can use it on twitter – the 140 word limit is great for conciseness and not so good for urls. Also made me think of the value of short domain names – too bad windows7 wasn’t available.
