PC MAG had interesting updates on potential gaming related features in Windows 7 -

1. Scan for updates and patches for your games.
2. Information  on recently played games and game information like Xbox Live.
3. Obviously Xbox Live support + hopefully more features related to that.

There’s no doubt that Windows is the only PC OS that really supports gaming well and has a ton of games available. Being able to play with Xbox owners adds a lot. And addition of these features and a few more gaming related features would really make Windows 7 compelling for gamers.
